Short Description: Recombinant-Human CD10 (Neprilysin)-protein was developed from hek293. For use in research applications.

Dilution Range: To prepare stock, reconstitute by gently mixing in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.DO NOT VORTEX
Storage Instruction: Can be stored in working aliquots at 2°C-8°C C for one month, or at-20°C C for six months, with 0.1% HSA as carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. NA

Function Thermolysin-like specificity, but is almost confined on acting on polypeptides of up to 30 amino acids. Biologically important in the destruction of opioid peptides such as Met- and Leu-enkephalins by cleavage of a Gly-Phe bond. Catalyzes cleavage of bradykinin, substance P and neurotensin peptides. Able to cleave angiotensin-1, angiotensin-2 and angiotensin 1-9. Involved in the degradation of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) and brain natriuretic factor (BNP(1-32)).
