Immunogen: Recombinant Mouse Siglec-3/CD33 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Asp18-Glu240) of mouse Siglec3/CD33 (Accession #NP_001104528.1) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Post Translational Modifications Glycosylated. Phosphorylation is involved in binding to PTPN6 and PTPN11.
Function Sialic-acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin (Siglec) that plays a role in mediating cell-cell interactions and in maintaining immune cells in a resting state. Preferentially binds sialic acid to the short O-linked glycans of certain mucins.
